Maintenance & Hook-Up Commissioning

ENERSEA’s experience covers all aspects of project development, from feasibility studies through project execution works until maintenance and support services. Following the completion of the projects, the Company continues to provide its services under a number of general services, upgrading, retrofit or maintenance contracts. Whilst the majority of the work was carried out in Malaysia, the Company is continuing to develop a track record in the Asia Pacific region.

For Maintenance & Hook Up Commissioning works for ENERSEA, the Company shall prepare all the engineering activities such as job cards preparation to Company standards, schedule & manhours estimate, prefabrication plan of the offshore spools, layout drawings for storage of the pre-fabricated elements (structural & piping, cables drums & hook-up tools/consumables) on the deck before load out, hook-up barge selection and barge mooring arrangement & deck layout, construction procedures (welding, lifting, E/I, hydrostatic tests, NDT, etc.), etc.

At the start of offshore activities, the Company shall mobilise the following spreads for the duration of the Maintenance & Hook Up Commissioning activities: Accommodation Work Barge or Workboat (AWB), Anchor Handling Tugs (AHT/AHTS) and Supply Vessel (SV). The proposed Marine Spreads will comply with Company’s marine procedure manual and site standing instruction. The Company shall also be responsible to supply adequate tools and equipment and safety suitable for offshore environment and prior to mobilization the tools and equipment shall be inspected prior to being sent offshore.

A significant project implemented by the Company is for BC Petroleum Sdn. Bhd. whereby ENERSEA was involved in a number of contracts for offshore works related to Maintenance & Hook Up Commissioning entitled “Provision of Wellhead Platform Services, Vessel Topside Services and Bintulu Base Facilities” from 2012 onwards.

The Maintenance & Hook-up Commissioning scope of works undertaken includes the following:

Workpack engineering & planning

Procurement of all required materials

Onshore fabrication & logistics yard

Logistics support & marine supply base

Marine vessels & supporting marine spread

Mobilisation of construction crew, equipment & materials

Hook-up process & fabrication punchlist

Inspection testing, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning of all system, related appurtenances and equipment of the platform

Start-up process & Performance Testing

Handover & outstanding punchlist
